Humanity Matters
The crisis the world is living in, created by the Covid19 virus, led me to my decision of creating a Human Empowerment project. A project to restore to people, the power that has been taken over the years. The power to have a free expression of self humanity: of who we are and how we want to live.
The project aims to empower each individual in its most essential and universal expression, of what means to be free and human.
Not a humanism in its most reductive expression: individualistic and narcissistic. But the real human expression: the sense of compassion and inclusion and the sense of peace and love as natural ways of being human.
And above all, to have the power to stand up and hold for our human needs and rights.
We think we are free, but we are not.
Freedom will come when the human race, every human being, is liberated from all the constraints that enslave him and prevent him from speaking, fulfilling desires, dreams and living as a human being. Unfortunately in our path of life, we hardly accomplish to be free and stand up for ourselves.
I fully subscribe to this project the words of Prof. Agostinho da Silva a Portuguese philosopher: “The Human Being is not born to work, he is born to create, to be a poet of his own free will”.
The survival of humanity is at risk.
A universal crisis has displayed society with a flawed expression of humankind. A crisis of “modernity”, signalized by conflict, fear, war, social inequality, unsustainable industrial and agricultural development. Also by savage capitalism and an accelerated liberal economy with no individual, social or environmental concerns. The representation of the modern individual crisis.
We have exchanged the primacy of life, and the family, for what is secondary. Two centuries have been marked by the power of work, production and money over the essential power of every life. For more than 200 years, we have subjugated the essential Nature of the planet Earth to the individual selfish nature. And the results are there for all to see.
Humans can be more human and free.
My vision, wish and purpose of this project is to inspire the human race, humanity, to live in real freedom.
To support this ambition and individual process of internal freedom, we created moments of collective wisdom. Talks with people from all around the world. Moments of wisdom and social support that can enhance the best of a group and of each person. We call it Power @ Talks, a collective conversation about human empowerment (large groups).
And given the moment of great social impact we going through (Covid19), we also create Power @ Coaching moments, to help out each person in difficult times of their life journey. Especially at crucial moments: like the makeup of decisions in difficult and transition life cycles (individual moments).
Despite every social, economic or political interest, the human race must be free, we are born to be free.
This project it’s a call.
A way to sustain human greatness and a dream of a new Humanity on Earth.
